If you are having trouble with email, here are a few things that may help:

  • If you are contacting your advisor:
    1. Make sure you include a subject line with your name in it, so that the teacher can identify you.
    2. Be specific with your questions.
    3. If you do not get a response, check the troubleshooting tips below and follow up with a phone call

  • If you are contacting a teacher for help on a specific class
    1. Be sure to let the teacher know who your advisor is.
    2. Indicate which course you are taking AND which assignment you have questions about.
    3. Be specific with your question. If you don’t understand something, explain what you don’t understand and why it doesn’t make sense.

  • If you are not getting a response:
    1. Check your Spam or Junk Mailbox for any responses.
    2. Make sure you entered the email address correctly.
    3. Be sure to include a specific subject line.
    4. Call the teacher you are trying to email.
