Below are the current combined state and district graduation requirements for all Bethel students. Be aware that graduation requirements can and do change from year to year, so make sure you communicate with your advisor to make sure you are fulfilling the requirements for your graduating year.

  • Successful completion of a minimum of 22.5 credits (28 for Bethel High School).
  • Successful completion of courses required by state statute, those required by State Board of Education Rules and Regulations and those required by the Board of Directors of the Bethel School District (see our course catalog for available classes).

  • Successful completion of a culminating project.  Students shall be expected to complete a culminating project as part of high school graduation requirements. The culminating project will provide evidence of a student’s education and preparation for the future.
  • Successful establishment of a high school + educational plan (13th year). This is rolled in with the culminating project.
  • Reading, writing, & math state assessment requirements. Students must meet standard on the reading, writing, and math Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL), CAA-Option, or designated special education alternative.

NOTE: State testing requirements will be changing for the class of 2013.
