Student Expectations


Attendance and Workload

Attendance consists of 3 things:

  1. Weekly contact
  2. 20-25 hours a week logged on your timesheet (doc)
  3. Adequate progress (complete 6 classes every semester)


Graduation Requirements

The following are state and district graduation requirements for the class of 2008 and later:

  • Every 10th grader is required by state law to take the WASL in Reading, Writing, Math, and Science.
  • All students MUST meet the assessment requirements for graduation in Reading, Writing, and Math.
  • All seniors must have a completed culminating project.
  • All students must complete their 22.5 required credits.

A“Advanced”90-100Demonstrates thorough/complete understanding
You can teach it to your friend
B“Proficient”80-89Consistently able to demonstrate understanding
You can do it on your own over and over again
C“Meets Standard”70-79Adequately able to demonstrate understanding
You can do it but sometimes need support
NC“Approaching Standard”
or “Not Complete”
0-69Inconsistently demonstrates understanding
You can do it inconsistently or not at all
